Know the Rules - real life situations.
If my balls resting place after a shot during a nett round is on a dead hedgehog what are my options if I am unsure if I get relief or not.
Refer to rule 3-3. In stroke play only, if a competitor is doubtful of his rights he may without penalty complete the hole with two balls. Before returning his score card, the competitor must report the facts of the situation to the committee. The Committee will determine the score for the hole.
(Real life competitor choose to play as it lay, skimmed it perfectly ie did not hit any maggots, landed on the green however did 3 putted.)

Laughter.
Two long time golf buddies were standing on a tee box overlooking the estuary, getting ready to hit their tee shots. Rob pointed across the sand bar, turned to Stan, the other golfer and said, "Look at those idiots fishing in the rain!"

In the future.
When entering a tournament please remember to give your magnetic name tag to the starter.
