Congratulations to Peter Neal for his hole in one on numbedr 4 - his 6th ace. Well done Peter.
Also from the recent 2 day Vets tournament, Hec Crighton shot his age both days, the 86 year old shooting 84 the first day and 86 the second. A tremendous feat Hec, but not all that unusual for you of course. Also from the same tournament from the "believe it or not files" Jim Sinclair won the straightest drive on the second day and the Club Captain won the gross with 160. Even though we have had some very hot weather, the couse is still looking green and enjoyable to play.
It has been a pleasure to welcome some new members and also the annual summer visitors from Canada and England.
The ladies' competitions start at 9.00 am on Tuesdays and Thursdays - please give your name to the starters before 8.45 am.
Nine hole golf commences at 9.30 am. Do join us!
